Watermarked Images

Why do some images have watermarks on them?

Companies who are in the business of selling and licensing images will put their watermarks on their images, so any image they own has to be purchased to be used legally.

However, for us to make a product using an image, the image has to be purchased with a license (usually referred to as an enhanced or extended license) that will allow us to make products using that image.
