I had this idea for a gift back in March as a gift for another occasion, but received horrible service from the company that I had dealt with at the time and ended up not receiving my purchase, and instead was credited for it. But it still left me with no special gift for my husband at the time. I was a bit reluctant to try a different company because of my prior negative experience, but I had decided to try You Customize It for the same gift idea for our wedding anniversary and the overall experience and service was excellent!!! I love the awesome design and I know that my husband is going to absolutely love it as well!!! It will be a treasured keepsake for many more blessed years to come that we may have together!!! I absolutely love my custom mermaid plates. They arrived promptly, beautifully packaged, perfect as to my design. Lovely colors. Great quality. Im thrilled with them!

I was SO glad your graphics people were able to enhance the pictures my son drew. He has Down's Syndrome and does not like doing artsy stuff--much less redoing it! The plates were for his father's birthday, decided when I found out he ate his breakfast on melamine plates our daughter made 25 or so years ago from a kit. You were not able to offer melamine at this time, so I hope the glass plates last (especially because they were expensive!). Your customer service woman was great, not only with over-the-phone contact, but also with emails. Thank you!

Seems VERY well made!! The design is encased in the thick glass. I gave It as a bday gift to a sea shell lover along with a sea shell silverware set. She loves it so much she says she wont eat on it for fear of the chance that it could get broken while washing, etc.

My wife and i love the plates, they were just as we designed them.
