The word "Ikat" (pronounced EE-kot) is actually a dyeing technique, where the yarn is first dyed and then intricately woven; the key identifying factor is bleed and blurry lines. Today, Ikat is more about the pattern, (rather than the weave), and is mostly printed on fabric.
All our Ikat patterns are printed; we have a number of different ikat patterns for you to select from. We have created a number of customizable ikat designs for you as a starting point. These designs have resulted in over 2000 different products that you browse and customize online using our design center.
If you are looking for a specific ikat pattern and do not see it, please contact us and we will be glad to work with you to help you meet your vision!
